Masisa's Curitiba office in Stromberg Ash Synchro
In 2007, Bausch Decor won the Interzum Intelligent Material & Design Award in the Best of the Best category for its Stromberg Ash Synchro, a decor suitable for registered embossing. In collaboration with Wetzel GmbH, a cylinder engraver of Grenzach-Wyhlen, Hueck Engraving, a Viersen-based press plate manufacturer, and the Chilean Masisa Group, Latin America's leading timber product manufacturer, it has also gained three excellent partners for the development of a furniture version of Stromberg Ash Synchro. The result has so impressed the three companies that one of them – Masisa – has opted for the decor throughout its new office in a business tower in Curitiba, Brazil.

Showing in line with white, grey and black trend
In Bausch Decor's opinion, the white trend will continue unabated in 2008, and will thus be playing an important role at the decor paper printer's showing at the ZOW 2008. As the decor paper printer observes, the hue, which began to catch on in the fashion and car industry as an accent colour, has now found favour in both the furniture industry and among consumers, and is presumably gaining in momentum and significance as a countertrend reaction to the loud, flashy colours of the media world.

Constant search for new technologies – a corporate goal at Bausch Decor
